Welcome to Beauty Bay on North Idaho’s magnificent Coeur d’Alene Lake! This vacation getaway sits nestled in the pristine wilderness that Idaho is famous for, yet is only a twelve-mile drive from downtown Coeur d’Alene.
A gravel driveway takes you to this rustic retreat. Upon immediate arrival at the cabin, you are greeted by an expansive outdoor deck that wraps around the entire cabin. A set of patio furniture invites you to sit down and relax. There are two cushioned chairs, a cushioned loveseat, a coffee table, and two chaise lounges ready to sink into. Next you will immediately notice the peace and quiet that surrounds you. The pine tree wilderness all around you secures your privacy. Already you will feel right at home.
This 950 square foot cabin is a Craftsman A-frame multi-level house situated on two lots totaling .76 acres. The cabin was built in 1986 and was totally remodeled in 2022.
The front entrance into the cabin is through a pair of windowed double doors. Upon immediate entry into the cabin, you walk into a kitchen, dining, and living room combination with a coat closet.
The kitchen has been totally remodeled and features new appliances. The kitchen comes with a stainless steel refrigerator and freezer, a stainless steel deep sink, a built-in overhead microwave, a stainless steel electric stove and oven, quarry countertops, and a subway tile backsplash. This kitchen also comes complete with a blender, a coffee maker, coffee, coffee filters, a spice rack loaded with cooking spices and seasonings, a stainless steel toaster, pots and pans, dishes, dish towels, washcloths, and every kind of cooking utensil you will ever need, all available for your use during your visit. An overabundance of ceiling lights hangs overhead to keep the kitchen brightly lit.
There is also a barbecuing grill outside on the deck, which you are welcome to use for cooking during your visit.
The dining area of the cabin features a large dining table with six cushioned chairs. The miniature living room is just big enough for two easy chairs and a small end table situated next to a large picture window that looks out onto the deck in the front of the house. Two skylight windows light up the whole room and the loft above. A ceiling fan overhead offers a cooling breeze and a boost to the airflow throughout the whole house. Exposed beams decorate the ceiling overhead and create a rustic lodge experience for visitors to this cabin.
At the heart of this whole room is a wood stove fireplace available for you to use for warmth or for ambience. The woodshed outside is always fully stocked with firewood for you to use.
Bedroom number 1 is on the main level. This bedroom features a queen size bed, luxury bed linens, four pillows, a bedside table with a lamp, and a full double-door closet.
The bathroom is on the main level and has also been remodeled. This bathroom has an enclosed shower stall and is fully stocked with bath towels, hand towels, washcloths, extra toilet paper, and a hair dryer.
A washer, dryer, iron, and ironing board are also located on the main floor, right inside the side door entrance into the home. All are readily available for your use during your stay.
A decorative sweeping staircase leads up to the loft and to bedroom number 2. The loft begins with a sitting area that overlooks the main entrance below. This area includes an easy chair, a bookshelf with books, and a desk with an office chair. The two skylights offer views of the wilderness outside from this loft.
The loft bedroom includes a queen size bed, luxury bed linens, four pillows, and a bedside table with a lamp. This room includes its own living room with a sectional couch, an ottoman, two easy chairs, and a flatscreen Smart TV with a remote.
This room also has its own ceiling fan and a sliding glass door that leads to an outside second-floor deck with stunning views of the pine tree wilderness all around the property.
This cabin comes with the modern conveniences of free 25+ mbps wi-fi, air conditioning, and thermostat-controlled electric baseboard heat. A smoke detector and a carbon monoxide detector on each floor have been installed in the cabin. There is also a fire extinguisher in the coat closet.
A new metal roof was included in the remodel. The property is fenced. A fire pit with two outdoor chairs is available in a grassy area a few feet away from the deck. There is exterior lighting and ample parking space available for up to four cars. Water to the cabin is provided by a community shared well. The property is protected by the Beauty Bay Estates HOA.
The cabin is on secondary waterfront property with a boat slip and access to the community dock, beach, and common areas. Activities available to you during your stay include: waterfront access, wilderness hiking, mountain biking, bald eagle viewing, boating, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, and swimming.
